Halles Debat-Ponsan

Quai Paludate in Bordeaux, in the heart of the ZAC Saint-Jean Belcier, the Halles Debat Ponsan are part of the transformation and extension of the former municipal slaughterhouses into commercial buildings, offices and a 4-star hotel. Supported by Eiffage Immobilier, designed by the Architecture agency Nicolas Michelin & Associés (A/NM/A) and built by Eiffage Construction, the Halles Debat Ponsan blend perfectly into the Bordeaux landscape adjoining the Garonne.

In charge of the technical design of the facades, our work focused on the study of pleated facades adorned with composite cladding, glazed facades forming recesses, and the over-roof in composite panels. This intervention, in the design phase, resulted in the production of :

  • Pre-sizing of frames and infills,
  • Realization of the principle details of the glazed & clad facades,
  • Realization of structural work reservation plans for the design of formwork tools.
