Parvis d'Orion

ZAC Bastide Niel in Bordeaux, on the right bank, Parvis d'Orion is located on the site of the former Caserne Niel and two railway wastelands. Initiated by MVRDV, co-developed by the Architecture agencies Atelier Cambium & Olgga Architectes, Parvis d'Orion offers us mineral facades with complex geometric shapes.

In charge of the technical design of the facades, our work focused on the study of the exterior joinery, the integration of the waterproofing under the facing and the locksmithing. This intervention, in the design phase, resulted in the production of :

• Pre-sizing of frames and infills,
• Realization of the principle details of the glazed & clad facades,
• Drafting of written documents,
• Budget estimate of facade lots,
• Analysis of offers,
• Operation monitoring during the construction phase,
• Assistance with reception operations.
