Plaine des Sports

Chemin du Golf in Saint-Paul-Lès-Dax, on the outskirts of the Greater Dax Agglomeration, the Plaine des Sports offers an eight-hectare sports area and a 500-seat grandstand. Co-created by the Architecture agencies Olgga and Atelier Cambium, the Plaine des Sport has been awarded the Regional Architecture Prize (Prad’A) 2019 - Category XL.

Missioned on the design of the facades, our work essentially focused on the creation of openings with the greatest possible transparency so as not to obstruct the view of the playgrounds. This intervention, in the design phase, resulted in the production of :

• Pre-sizing of frames and infills,
• Realization of the principle details of the glazed & clad facades,
• Drafting of written documents,
• Budget estimate of facade lots,
• Analysis of offers,
• Operation monitoring during the construction phase,
• Assistance with reception operations.
