Ilôt Foch

Ilot Foch in Lille, located in the heart of the city centre, a stone's throw from Lille Flandres station, is an ambitious redevelopment project for a mixed-use property complex covering 15,580 m². Conceived by the SCAU agency, the redevelopment completely reinvents the aesthetics of the block, while at the same time embracing the principles of reuse, sustainability and enhanced energy performance. The project features contemporary façades that elegantly combine existing and traditional materials with technical innovations to give the building a strong urban identity.

Commissioned to design the technical aspects of the façades, our work focused on analysing and developing all the glazed and cladding structures. This assignment, carried out at the design stage, resulted in the production of :

  • Pre-dimensioning of frameworks and infills,
  • Drawing up details of the principles of the glazed and clad façades,
  • Drafting of written documents,
  • Budget estimates for the façade work packages,
  • Analysis of tenders,
  • Management of the execution of the works,
  • Approval of execution documents,
  • Assistance with acceptance operations.
