Les Jardins du Lou

Avenue Tony Garnier in Lyon, on the Stade Gerland plot, the Jardins du Lou building complex involved the construction of a set of six office buildings. Designed by the agency AIA Life Designers and Albert Constantin on behalf of Foncière Polygone, 6ème Sens Immobilier and Lou Rugby, this real estate complex with bioclimatic design is coupled with the use of high-performance systems has made it possible to go beyond initial energy targets. Les Jardins du Lou demonstrates a strong environmental ambition by aiming for HQE Excellent, BREEAM Very Good, and E+C-E1C1 certifications. The Jardins du Lou project in Lyon was awarded the Grand Prix SIMI 2020 in the office park category of more than 10,000m².

In charge of the technical studies of the glazed facades and solar protections, our work focused on the breathable VEC block facades with the integration of blinds on the long sides, the grid curtain walls on the gables and the exterior glazed sunscreens. This intervention, in the execution phase, resulted in the production of :

  • Mechanical calculation notes,
  • Thermal calculation notes,
  • Acoustic justifications,
  • Technical files,
  • Principle Plans,
  • Reservation plans,
  • Execution plans,
  • ATEX assembly,
  • Manufacturing launches,
  • Record of works executed.
